For the Chicken:

  • Salt and pepper , to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (or 2 cloves minced garlic)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

For the Creamy Parmesan Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp anchovy paste (optional, but adds authentic Caesar flavor)
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 clove garlic , minced
  • Salt and pepper , to taste

  • Fresh parsley , chopped

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Prep

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) . Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano.

Step 2: Sear the Chicken

  1. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Sear chicken for 2–3 minutes per side , until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

Step 3: Make the Creamy Parmesan Sauce

  1. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute to form a roux.
  2. Gradually whisk in chicken broth, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Bring to a simmer until slightly thickened.
