Ingredients
8 canned buttermilk biscuits(store-bought, like Pillsbury, work great)
1 pound breakfast sausage(mild, hot, or flavored to your preference)
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or the temperature recommended on the biscuit package.
Step 2: Cook the Sausage
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks.
Cook until fully browned and no pink remains. Drain any excess grease and set aside to cool slightly.
Step 3: Prepare the Biscuits
Separate the canned biscuits and flatten each one slightly with your hands or a rolling pin to create a 4–5 inch circle.
Spoon a small amount of the cooked sausage onto the center of each biscuit.
Sprinkle a pinch of shredded cheddar cheese over the sausage.
Step 4: Seal the Biscuits
Fold the edges of the biscuit dough over the sausage and cheese, pinching them together to seal.
Place the biscuits seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
