Four diced russet potatoes are needed.
6 slices of bacon, chopped 1 onion, diced
Three cloves of garlic, minced
Four cups of broth and one cup of heavy cream (or milk)
To taste, add salt, pepper, and thyme.
Garnish with green onions and cheddar.
