A Recipe for Buttered Beef Steak

Bring potatoes to a boil. Pinch of salt and enough water to cover the diced potatoes in a big saucepan. Raise the heat to medium-high and boil for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until the potatoes are soft.
Beat the Potatoes together: After draining, put the potatoes back into the saucepan. Mash till smooth, then add milk and butter. To taste, add salt and pepper. Make sure you are warm.
SUBJECT TO THE STEAK BITE:
Cut the Steak: The steak bites should be seasoned with salt and pepper.
Marinate the Steak: In a big skillet, heat the olive oil over high heat. Brown the steak bits to your liking by adding them in a single layer (you may need to work in batches if needed) and cooking for about two to three minutes each side. Take the steak out of the pan and put it aside.
In the same pan, lower the heat to medium and make the garlic butter sauce. Put in 2 tablespoons of butter along with the rosemary, thyme, garlic, and chopped garlic. Toss the garlic around often while cooking until it becomes aromatic and somewhat yellow, which should take about a minute or two.
Toss the steak cubes back into the pan with the garlic butter sauce and return to the stove to coat. To ensure the steak is well cooked and covered with sauce, cook for a further minute or two. Whisk in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter until melted, then remove from heat.
MEAL PREP:
Prepare the Meal: Top the mashed potatoes with the steak bites. Top with a drizzle of any leftover garlic butter sauce from the skillet.
For the garnish, you may add some fresh chives and parsley, if you want.
Have fun!
