The arrival of summer is synonymous with... well, you know the rest. Summertime is all about basking in the sun, having a barbeque, sipping cocktails on the patio, and visiting the beach. However, ants are another summertime nuisance.
As soon as the temperature rises, ant infestations become inevitable. Even a little ant infestation may rapidly escalate into a major one, and hiring a professional exterminator can be rather expensive. This summer, ants may infiltrate your house, but there's no need to freak out. If you're sick of ants in your house, try these simple, inexpensive solutions.

Find out how the ants are entering your house before you attempt this doozy of a hack from Do You Remember. You may attract pests, like any other kind of bug, by keeping your door open for lengthy periods of time. Keep the doors closed unless you have a screen! Similarly, sweet meals are a major magnet for ants. Never leave food out on the counter, always put the lid on the trash can, and wipe off sticky surfaces right away.
If you've exhausted all other options and the ant problem persists, consider these three strategies.

Ants will stay away from cinnamon-scented areas if they discover them. What is required for this hack to work?
Cinnamon essential oil, 1/2 teaspoon
- One cup of water - A towel or cotton balls - Optional: cinnamon cloves
The cinnamon essential oil and water should be mixed together first. After that, dip the cloth or cotton balls into the mixture. If you're having an ant issue, wipe off your countertops and any other surfaces. To get rid of the ants for good, try doing this every day. To take it a notch further, you may scatter cinnamon cloves around your entryways and windows.
