Two big eggs are required.

1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
6 medium-sized potatoes, cleaned and diced
half a cup of onion, coarsely chopped
equal to quarter cup of vegetable oil

Before you add the potatoes and onion, beat the eggs, flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper in a big basin.Melt the butter in a big skillet set over medium heat. When the oil is heated, drop heaping tablespoons of the potato mixture into it in sections. Flatten by pressing. For about three minutes each side, or until browned and crisp. To drain, transfer to a plate lined with paper towels. Turn the potatoes over again.
