What you need:
3 lbs. of ground beef, with 85% lean and 15% fat
One pound of sausage with a country twist
two eggs
1/4 cup of onion, chopped
1/3 cup of ketchup.
1 and 1/4 teaspoons of Morton's Nature's Sea Salt
1/3 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/4 cup of Worcestershire sauce
pepper, half a teaspoon
Salt, half a teaspoon
Half a cup of crumbed bread
One cup of cheddar cheese, chopped
Two loaf pans' worth of bacon pieces
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F, or 175°C.
blend all of the ingredients (except the bacon) in a big bowl and stir to blend.
In two loaf pans, arrange pieces of bacon.
Press the meat mixture into the two bread pans to make loaves, dividing it equally.
After 90 minutes of baking in a preheated oven, the internal temperature should have reached 160°F, or 71°C.
As soon as the meatloaves come out of the oven, carefully remove them from the pans and set them on a chopping board.
Slice the meatloaves once they have rested for a few minutes.
