Air-Fryer Southern Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich

What You Need:
Light bread (white), wheat, or Brioche—two pieces
Two eggs, cooked and spiced to taste
3–4 slices of thick-cut bacon, turkey bacon (not cured), or bacon (not made from animals)
2 to 4 pieces of cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon of melted butter or mayo for toasting bread
One teaspoon of mayonnaise, as a condiment for sandwiches, if desired.
What to do
In an air fryer set to high heat (around 350 to 375 degrees), add three or four bacon pieces.
Spread a little butter or mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice. This is also possible to execute in a skillet as the final step after removing the food from the air fryer.
Note - Condiment: If you want your sandwiches with mayonnaise, you have the option to spread it on the bottom of the bread as well.

Set aside once bacon has cooked for three to six minutes, or until crisp.
In a pan, fry two eggs until they are the size of sandwich bread, or until they are folded over. Make sure the egg cooks evenly on both sides before placing it on toast.
Spread some cheese on top of the toast, then top it with the fried egg. Before serving, top the egg with a piece of cheese. Preferred: a more cheesy variety.
After that, top the fried egg with cheese and air-fried, crispy bacon.
To finish the sandwich, layer the bacon with the remaining pieces of cheese and top with the second slice of bread.
Lastly, to toast your breakfast sandwich and get it nice and crispy, pop it in the air fryer for about a minute or two.
Take out of air fryer.
As an optional topping, melt some butter or mayo in a pan over medium heat. Toast the sandwich until golden brown on both sides.

SOAK IT ALL UP!
