Creamy potato and hamburger soup made in a crockpot: a warm and comforting meal.


The components of a certain recipe.
1 lb. of ground beef

After peeling five or six medium-sized potatoes, cut them into little pieces.

one medium onion, skinned

Minced garlic, three pieces

beef stock, three cups

Parsley, dried, 1 teaspoonful

50/50 ml of dried thyme

one-eighth teaspoon of dried basil.

Sprinkle with pepper and salt to taste.

For a velvety texture, mix in half-and-half or milk and grated cheddar cheese only 30 minutes before serving. While the cheese melts, thicken the soup by whipping it. Before putting it in the crockpot, thicken it by combining the flour and milk in a separate bowl.



Add butter just before serving for an extra creamy and rich flavor.



As a garnish, you may use chopped green onions or fresh parsley to top each dish with the soup. It tastes much better when served hot and accompanied with some crusty bread.
