Discover how to make tight shoes more comfortable with these helpful tips from my grandmother.

How to make tight shoes wider.

It's a usual situation: when you try on shoes in a store and they feel too small. It can be really frustrating when we love a pair of shoes but then find out they are not comfortable. But don't fret, there are proven ways to make tight shoes more comfortable by stretching them. Here are some helpful tips from grandmothers to help you stretch your shoes.

The Freezing Technique
Some shoes can be very uncomfortable. If your favorite shoes are uncomfortable, this tip can be useful. Put 0.25 liters of water in two freezer bags, close them well, and then place them in your shoes, pushing them towards the toes. Put them in the freezer all night. When water turns into ice, it grows and can make shoes bigger. The following day, take out the bags, dry the shoes with paper towels, and wear them so they adjust to the shape of your feet. Say it again if needed.

Stretching shoes with heat can also be very effective. Moisten the leather with warm water, then wear thick socks and your snug shoes for a few hours, moving your toes. To make the process quicker, wear your shoes and use a hairdryer to warm them up.
